I offer neither pay, nor quarters, nor provisions; I offer hunger, thirst, forced marches, battles and death. Let him who believes in his country with his heart, and not with his lips only, follow me!
We are moving toward a united Italy. We must complete the great work which our fathers began.
Let those who wish to live in servitude remain behind. Let those who love freedom step forward!
